〔記者萬于甄／台南報導〕台南永康一處電鍍機械工廠今凌晨3時突竄黑煙，消防局獲報後，出動鹽行、永康、復興、大灣等消防分隊前往搶救，但火勢猛烈，深夜中能可看見濃煙直竄天際，到場的消防人員趕緊尋求支援，初估燃燒3間工廠，所幸廠房內部都無人員受困，打火弟兄漏夜救援，火勢約1個小時熄滅。
台南市消防局今凌晨近3點時，接獲永康國聖街一處工廠起火，先後出動三梯次消防人車前往灌救；打火弟兄到場時，工廠已遭火勢侵襲，也延燒另2間工廠，內部則因高溫而有坍塌情況，且一度傳出有工廠後方存放重油槽，讓消防人員不敢大意。
消防局陸續加派3梯次支援，出動22部消防車、65名警消，火勢約1個小時後獲得控制、熄滅，初步調查共3間工廠受災，燃燒面積約數百平方公尺，詳細起火原因、財物損失，有待進一步調查。
