擔任保生大帝廟主委的市議員林志聰指出，帶著狗兒安太歲的是位男信眾，昨天專程到訪，並表明來意，由於自己飼養的「鑽石」遇到本命年，想要為牠點個燈，祈求平安，工作人員聽聞，都一陣訝異。
林志聰說，信眾認為狗兒也是自己的家人，當然要一視同仁，加以照顧、愛護，因此特地來點個太歲燈，由於不知道確切的生辰年月日，資料上就填寫吉年吉月吉日。
林志聰表示，廟裡有光明燈、太歲燈、財運燈與文昌燈，這是他首次遇到有飼主為自己寵物點燈，覺得很窩心又感動。
