下午5點左右，台南市消防局勤指中心接報，安南區城西街三段的城西焚化爐附近，有1輛市府委外的垃圾車翻車，2人受困車。勤指中心立即調派6車13人趕往搶救。救護人員抵達現場，破窗救出2名傷者，所幸僅是輕傷，送醫後並無大礙。
