台南市後壁區台1線後壁陸橋旁嘉南大圳支線，15日上午6時35分許被發現有1具男性浮屍，年紀約20多歲，身上僅著黑色T恤、短褲，沒有任何身分證件，警方呼籲民眾指認，家有失蹤人口民眾可與白河分局後壁分駐所聯繫指認。

白河分局指出，8月15日上午6時35分接獲報案，有民眾騎車行經後壁陸橋嘉南大圳菁寮1號制水閘，發現有人卡在制水閘內，立即向警方報案，後壁分駐所警員張紹科、後壁消防隊均立即趕抵現場，發現男子已明顯死亡，初判落水應在3天以上，可能是從上游漂流至該處，因身上僅著黑色T恤、黑色短褲類似騎腳踏車服裝、身高約170公分，但沒有任何身分證件，目前遺體已移往柳營區殯儀館，警方呼籲民眾指認，指認電話白河分局勤務指揮中心（06）6852006獲後壁分駐所（06）6872744。
