台南市官田區農會7日在渡頭芒果集貨市場舉辦「官芒南瀛、田蜜仲夏」芒果節活動，這是國際芒果節首次在官田舉辦，台南市長黃偉哲到場，一起DIY芒果沙拉，活動也吸引上千遊客搶買便宜芒果、吃美味芒果冰淇淋。
黃偉哲表示，官田是台南芒果第4大產區，今年總算第一次舉辦活動；他說，官田芒果不輸山區的芒果，而且特別適合做芒果乾，其芒果乾銷售較其他產地要好，經常率先完售。
官田農會表示，官田區芒果以愛文為主，黑香數量也不少；其中，大崎里的黑香產量占全台6成，可說是黑香的故鄉。農會7日也準備了精彩表演與農產展售，並提供500杯農會新開發芒果冰淇淋10元銅板品嘗價，吸引民眾大排長龍。
