雷姓男子16日凌晨3時40分駕駛自小貨車，沿台南市東區大同路二段直行南向北方向行駛，結果失控自撞中央分隔島，撞斷交通號誌桿，導致臉部受傷，其酒測值為0.57ng/l，涉嫌公共危險罪嫌，全案函送台南地檢署偵辦。
警方調查，雷姓男子（63歲）於凌晨3時40分駕駛自小貨車，沿東區大同路二段直行南向北方向行駛，到肇事地點大同路二段571號前，不知何故人車失控自撞中央分隔島，致本身臉部受傷送醫就治；市警一分局案發後派員前往勘查測繪蒐證，經查雷男酒測值高達0.57ng/l，涉嫌酒後駕車，全案偵訊後依公共危險罪嫌函送台南地檢署偵辦。
