德國藝術家Axel Schunn在印度學瑜伽認識來自台灣的妻子，婚後跟著移居台南安平，依Schunn發音及愛的信仰，取了中文名字「孫和平」，在台南除了舉辦音樂季外，也常到安平海邊淨灘，他說，漂流棄置安平海邊的垃圾自動找上門，才有此次「棄置藝術展」，作品中不少是人的形貌，主要來自《易經》天人觀。
即日起至八月卅一日的個展，有Axel Schunn利用撿拾的輪胎、鐵件、光碟片、保麗龍、塑膠、漂流木、壞樂器和漁撈器具等廢棄品，依其形、體、意，運用巧思創意的裝置創作共卅件。
