〔記者楊金城／台南報導〕台南市西港區南海里南海埔1家工廠上午11點51分發生火警，因廠內存放甲苯，火勢引發接連爆燃，火舌衝天，幸好工廠人員疏散，台南市消防局正設法滅火。
南市消防局派遣西港、佳里、七股、安定、安南、麻豆、將軍等分隊趕往現場，廠內爆炸聲不斷。
這家工廠生產塗料接著劑，鐵皮工廠後半部陷入火海，因爆燃，火舌衝上15公尺高，黑煙遠在10多公里外都可以看到，火場高溫在100公尺外還能感受到。
南市消防局已增派第四梯次分隊前往灌救，人員難以靠近，以水砲塔持續灌救防護。
