〔記者吳俊鋒／台南報導〕源於清朝乾隆時期的台南安定區蘇厝長興宮建醮活動，每3年舉辦1次，已成為地方傳統，市政府也列入文化資產保存，各界關注；今天進行戊戌科的安龍目祭儀，為打造完工的王船開光，宣示這場眾所矚目的熱鬧盛會將進入高潮。
長興宮主祀十二瘟王，戊戌科七朝王醮將持續至4月底，廟方在恭請廠官爺、總趕公、媽祖之後，今天舉行安龍目儀式，在農曆年前完成開光，而帆高39尺的中桅，也進入彩繪階段。
廟方邀請知名的傳統藝術家杜柏錡為王船彩繪，這是他連續6科參與長興宮的醮典，見證地方傳統信仰的發展歷程。
長興宮管理委員會總幹事詹偉修指出，該廟首場醮典起於清乾隆37年，之後3年1科成習，這次的戊戌科於4月22日起鼓，接著千歲爺開光啟靈、出巡遶境，以及進表、普度等，4月29日則是重頭戲的燒王船，熱鬧可期，歡迎各界信眾參與。
