屏東縣107學年度國小附設幼兒園有109所，招生數1938人，本月（5月）7日至9日登記，每人只能登1所，登記超過該園招生數，就必須抽籤，今年有半數附幼需要抽籤。
許多家長帶著孩子到現場看抽籤，以屏東市的仁愛國小附幼來說，新生招收65名，扣除優先入學者，還有11個名額，給23位4歲一般幼兒抽籤；校長許嘉政現場邀請家長協助抽籤，完成作業後，隨即受理錄取新生報到。
屏東縣政府教育處學前教育科表示，沒有抽中公幼的家長，可以考慮非營利幼兒園，今年新增3所，全縣107學年共有7所招生，招生數385人，5月21日至24日受理登記，25日抽籤，非營利幼兒園收費、師資等標準都需比照公立。
