〔記者葉永騫／屏東報導〕屏東市納骨塔位只剩下2842個，市民代表李漢鐘今天建議籌建新塔，市長林協松表示，屏東市正大力推動環保葬法，目前不考慮建新塔。
屏東市歸園納骨塔2館啟用後僅剩2842個塔位，以目前使用速度可能在幾年內就額滿，市民代表李漢鐘今天在市政總質詢時建議市公所應該未雨綢繆，新建新的納骨塔，才能嘉惠市民，因為屏東市以往因為納骨塔位不足，許多市民只能安置到鄰近九如鄉的納骨塔，不但費用增加一倍，也不能就近祭拜，更造就九如鄉有3座的納骨塔，市公所應該為市民的權益考量新建納骨塔。
市長林恊松表示，目前不考慮蓋新塔，因為市公所已經在歸園設立了多元葬區，可以採取花葬、樹葬等環保葬法，還有納骨牆可以使用，市公所正全力推動環保葬法，希望做到塵歸塵、土歸土，因此目前不考慮再新建納骨塔。
