裝置藝術「關公騎機車」是四年前藝術家孫柏峰製作放置在千禧公園草地上，將關公騎赤兔馬改為騎現代的機車，展出後常成為民眾拍照的背景，也吸引小朋友爬上關公像，關公手臂禁不住長期重壓而斷裂。
日前有民眾不忍關公像斷臂，自行以木條、繃帶為關公包紮，外觀看起來好像關公右手骨折，正在接受治療。
屏東市代理市長程清水勘查後，將「關公騎機車」拉起封鎖線，並與原創藝術家孫柏峰聯繫，昨天起開始修復，先將斷裂的手臂和關刀重新黏合，接著再進行補漆，盡快讓「關公騎機車」重新呈現。程清水呼籲民眾發揮公德心，不要再動手破壞，才能讓更多人欣賞藝術之美。
