〔記者陳彥廷／屏東報導〕屏東小琉球海域海龜遭人為騷擾甚至攻擊的事件頻傳，前天傳出有浮潛客竟用腳重踩在海底的保育類綠蠵龜，海巡署循線找到楊姓嫌犯，他先是辯稱「沒碰到」、「牠游過去我旁邊我趕快跑」等，直到海巡人員出具側錄影片才坦承犯行，訊後依違反野生動物保育法函送屏東地檢署偵辦，最重可處一年以下期刑、拘役或併科6萬至30萬元罰金。
這是小琉球首起騷擾海龜現行犯遭逮，保育人士、居民期望能嚴辦以「殺雞儆猴」。
