HVL四強賽結束，最終女排由華僑高中及東山高中脫穎而出闖進冠軍戰，而中山工商及枋寮高中則是爭奪季軍，男排部分，挑戰五連霸的豐原高商、去年亞軍福誠高中再度於決賽相遇，而季軍戰則是大成商工對上內湖高工。
去年冠軍東山女排，今年再度強勢出擊，率先取得4強席位後，17日對上來自屏東的枋寮高中，展現出衛冕軍的氣勢，以直落三取勝闖進冠軍戰，不過陣中主力陳昱潔卻意外扭傷，預計決賽不會上場，也讓東山爭取連霸出現變數。
華僑女排去年意外跌出6強，今年捲土重來，同東山高中一樣早早取得4強席位，17日面對去年亞軍中山工商，雖然失掉首局，但接著連下3局奪勝，也突破過去總是居於劣勢的困境，拿下冠軍戰門票。
男排部分，已經連續4屆拿下冠軍的豐原高商，本季以全勝之姿闖進4強，接著又以直落三擊退內湖高工，五連霸僅剩最後一步，將對上4強同樣直落三擊敗大成商工的福誠高中，福誠高中為去年亞軍，今年再度和豐原高商在冠軍戰中相遇，誓言要阻斷豐商的五連霸業。
