位於屏東縣東港鎮的東港橋上，上午九時左右，發生一起機車追撞肇事意外，兩車由北往南方向行駛，前車為母子相載，後方的中年男子疑似下坡失控，撞擊到前車造成事故。3名傷者均送醫急救，前車3歲男童遭彈出，頭部有明顯撕裂傷；而肇事原因，警方了解中。

據目擊者表示，前車母子遭後車撞擊太大，均彈出車外；轄區員警接獲通報即刻趕抵現場，由於後車追撞的中年男子傷勢嚴重，積極員警見狀立即叫傷者「不要動了，救護車快到了」。

警消人員到場後，立即將3名傷者包紮止血，送往鄰近專責醫院急救。而肇事原因，警方正調查中。
