〔記者蔡宗憲／屏東報導〕恆春鎮昨晚在豪雨中舉辦豎孤棚大賽，強大雨勢至今累積280毫米，台26線香蕉灣路段一度泥流封路，經公路單位連夜緊急搶通，民眾途經邊坡路段，務必小心土石崩落狀況。
根據中央氣象局資料，全台近兩日累積雨量，以恆春鎮墾丁里270毫米居冠，恆春鎮內及滿州也都超過230毫米，鄰近的車城也有133毫米以上。
這起土石泥流發生在昨晚豎孤棚活動時間9時許，船帆石山坡不堪連日雨勢，大量泥流滾滾而下，整個台26線香蕉灣路段堆積將近20公分深，所幸當時沒有人員車輛經過，工程單位出動大量機具，直到凌晨才順利完成清理。
