〔記者洪定宏／高雄報導〕高齡90歲的陳姓老翁，欲領出全部存款48萬元，郵局人員研判他遭詐騙，報警勸阻，但警方不管怎樣詢問，老翁就是三緘其口，不願透露提款原因，最後只讓他領出5000元。
5月10日上午約10點，高雄市左營分局新莊派出所接獲左營區富民路郵局報案，指老翁疑遭詐騙，調派警員黃盈貴及邱信昌到場勸阻。
原來老翁解除多年的定存後，企圖領出全部存款48萬元，員警詢問他是否接獲「健保局」、「警政單位」、「檢察官」等等的帳務通知電話，老翁完全不發一語，就是不願說出提款原因。
最後取得老翁同意，只讓他領出5000元當生活費，以免慘遭詐騙，失去老本。
