高雄市梓官區的蚵仔寮漁港9日下午2點多，突然傳出火警，一艘靠在港邊的漁船不知為何突然冒煙起火，冒出大量黑煙，嚇壞附近民眾，海巡人員先發現，後來支援的消防隊抵達，1小時將火勢撲滅，當時船長已經回家，船員也都上岸，因此沒有人員傷亡，船則是半毀，不過詳細的起火原因，還需要進一步調查釐清。
有民眾9日下午直擊蚵仔寮漁港的一艘漁船起火，並PO上「爆料公社」，可以看到竄出大量的濃濃黑煙，附近民眾紛紛走避且議論紛紛，不久後海巡人員及消防車抵達，拉水線灌救，煙霧才減緩了一些。消防隊共出動10輛消防車，1小時將火撲滅，據《蘋果日報》報導，林姓船長說，「早上出海捕魚後，將漁獲卸下回家休息，接到通知才知起火，也不知道發生甚麼。」
