〔記者蘇福男／高雄報導〕高雄永安區新港里6鄰因地勢低窪，加上附近有溝渠工程在進行，及紅樹林、魚塭海水管造成通洪斷面狹窄，豪大雨過後水淹及膝，有10多戶人家泡在水裡，今天上午住戶划竹筏接送幼兒上學。
永安區長吳茂樹表示，新港里6鄰住有10多戶人家，因地勢低窪，又鄰近北溝，這幾天豪大雨不斷，魚塭排水到北溝，導致北溝排水不及，從28日下午2點積淹水後就沒有消退，淹水最深處及膝。
永安區公所和高雄市政府水利局、海洋局9台抽水機協助排水，但屋漏偏逢連夜雨，昨晚9點多臨時停電，直到清晨6點才復電，目前抽水機同時發動排水中。
