警方剛剛是在新田路執行查贓勤務時，於新田路297號前發現2名男子行跡可疑而上前盤查，忽遭其中一名歹徒開1槍射擊，幸未擊中員警，員警2人立即合力壓制逮捕1嫌，另1嫌犯趁機逃逸；警方於現場查獲手槍2把，正全力追查另一名在逃嫌犯。
