〔記者黃建華／高雄報導〕高雄市一名沈姓駕駛今天上午駕駛一部黑色轎車上班途中，行經新興區尚義街突然火燒車，沈姓駕駛及時逃離並報案，警消趕抵將火勢撲滅，幸未造成傷亡。
今（29日）上午8時41分許，新興區尚義街與六合路口傳出一起自小客車發生火燒車，警方獲報不敢大意，立即調派中正三路派出所警網馳赴現場處理，警方初步了解，沈姓車主（男，58歲）上班途中聞到陣陣汽油味，欲開往修車廠處理中，突發現汽車開始冒煙，立刻停車檢視，不料開始冒出火舌。
沈男立即下車逃離報案，未造成人員傷亡，消防車迅速趕到後撲滅火勢，但汽車已燒毀，起火原因仍待調查。
