環保局已請相關單位及局處依「空氣品質嚴重惡化緊急防制辦法」預警一級管制要領應變，積極協調列管排放對象減排或提升各項防制措施效能，並持續監測空氣品質現況。
環保局表示，紅色警戒對所有族群不健康等級，提醒民眾如有不適，應減少戶外激烈活動，外出時記得配戴口罩，並可多加搭乘大眾運輸通勤通學，減少使用私人運具。
