高雄一輛計程車27日下午3時20分行經旗南二路100號時，不慎和一台機車發生擦撞，隨後就失控向前衝撞，不僅撞上一處公廟的柱子，還追撞4台機車，導致1名男子當場失去生命跡象，目前送醫急救中，而計程車上2人，機車共4人也全部受傷送醫，詳細的肇事原因仍由警方調查。
警消人員趕到現場，發現事發地點凌亂不堪，還有人倒在地上，傷勢相當嚴重，路人也趕緊引導醫護人員方向，而肇事的計程車車頭嚴重變形損毀，可見當時撞擊力道之大，也有水管被撞破，不斷流出水，受傷人數達7人，均送醫治療。
