一名66歲王姓婦人日前騎機車要到楠梓加工區上班，途中遭到74歲蔡姓老翁駕駛的休旅車撞上，當場被捲入車底，右腳遭車輪輾壓，嚇得蔡翁不知如何是好，也不敢冒然移動車子，後來附近多名路人前來協助，一起抬起休旅車前輪，才讓婦人脫困，送醫後沒有生命危險。
楠梓警分局表示，這起車禍發生在10月12日上午6時30分許，王婦騎車行經楠梓區瑞仁路與瑞仁路14巷口時，蔡翁駕駛的白色休旅車也正好左轉，結果就被撞下車，又因為對方沒有及時煞車遭到輾壓，附近民眾見狀立刻打119，但王婦痛苦不堪，熱心的居民便在四處請來7、8人幫忙，最後花1分鐘把王婦拉出車下。

王婦送醫後，確認身上多處擦傷，右腳骨折，不過沒有生命危險，而蔡姓老翁經酒測，也沒有酒精反應。交通警察大隊楠梓分隊長林佑澤也說明，此事件因為「駕駛人已經74歲了，反應比正常人遲鈍，因為他未注意車前狀況及車後狀況，才發生交通事故」。
