全中運女子跳遠連3年拿下金牌的高雄市楠梓高中陳姿穎，卻在港都盃全國田徑錦標賽失利，僅以5公尺41屈居第6，讓她賽後略顯失落，不過天性樂觀的她隨即重振精神，誓言要在全中運完成連霸，並達到亞青參賽標準。
被認為陷入斷層的國內女子跳高，高二的陳姿穎無疑是未來之星，國小就跳出4公尺80的成績，國二開始更連續3年在全中運稱霸，最佳成績則為5公尺83。
不過連霸的光環與外界的期許，讓陳姿穎遭受不小壓力，「其實我不怕輸，只是怕表現不好，全中錦後就一直有心態問題，不相信自己。」
多慮、懷疑自己的心態確實影響到陳姿穎的表現，本次港都盃她的狀態其實不差，她也自認起跳感覺良好，卻因為想太多導致成績未達預期，讓她相當自責。

幸好陳姿穎個性樂天，馬上打起精神迎接下一個挑戰，「這次本來希望可以達到亞青5公尺89的參賽標準，很可惜，但接下來還有青年盃可以調整狀況，然後在全中運挑戰連霸以及達標亞青。」
連霸、達標亞青都只是陳姿穎的短期目標，她也表示，進入大學後會繼續精進，盼能跳進久未有國內女將達成的6公尺領域。
