鐵路警察表示，車輛行經平交道遇拋錨或障礙時，正確應變順序為「按、推、逃」，趕快按下平交道旁紅色緊急按鈕並確認啟動，再將車輛移離平交道，然後迅速跑離平交道。

高市交通大隊湖內分隊長蘇耀鴻說，鐵路平交道前黃色網狀線禁止停車，駕駛通過平交道，車子應停在禁止臨停的黃色槽線區後，確認前方有足夠空間，再迅速通過。
