〔記者黃良傑／高雄報導〕高市大順一路、新順路口，今天上午9點56分，因台電挖路鋪設電纜線時，不慎挖破瓦斯管線，大量瓦斯外洩，附近是住家和好市多大賣場，空氣瀰漫濃濃瓦斯味，情況一度危急，消防局共出動7車、21人，封閉300公尺道路管制，並警戒人車進入，通知瓦斯公司先關閉輸送管，同時在洩漏處灑水降溫，目前仍在搶救中。
欣高瓦斯於中午12點18分到場，找到瓦斯管線開關閥，因敲打易生火花引燃瓦斯，消防人員立即佈水線，並等待外洩瓦斯消散。
因瓦斯管線破裂瓦斯外洩近3小時，住戶抱怨瓦斯公司因應緩慢，警消人員全場警戒，要求住戶不得發動汽機車輛，避免引爆瓦斯，住戶全戴起口罩關窗躲避，直到中午12點40分關閉管線開關。
