一名有毒品、竊盜前科的49歲許姓男子日前騎乘贓車時被警方發現後，竟上演警匪追逐戰，他不斷加速逃逸，接近河提時便棄車，想要假裝是路人躲避警方，但因為他穿著紅色上衣太明顯被發現，又直接跳進愛河並游到對岸，不過最後仍被警方包圍，束手就擒。
高雄市鼓山分局龍華派出所27日上午8時接獲一名龔姓車主報案，指稱其停在中華一路的機車被偷了，經調閱監視器，發現是一名身穿紅衣的許男所為，後來近中午就在大順和富民路口發現許男騎著機車，但欲上前逮捕時，對方也加速逃逸。
許男逃跑後發現警方窮追不捨，騎到河堤路和敦煌路口附近時，便棄車想佯裝路人，可惜上衣鮮紅的顏色太過明顯被識破，一時情急便跳進愛河游至對岸，但後來消防員架梯又架梯，他見無處可逃，才乖乖爬上岸就逮。
