〔記者鄭瑋奇／台北報導〕受豪雨影響，台鐵高雄橋頭－岡山385K+500處（牛埔溪橋），因水位超過警戒線，目前雙線不通。台鐵局表示，南下列車只行駛至岡山折返，北上列車則於橋頭站折返，目前岡山－橋頭間改由公路客運接駁旅客，現場況狀則持續由工務段派員持續監視中。
台鐵局表示，主要中斷點就是在牛埔溪橋，但因為岡山站只有三股道，前面班次陸續開進去後，導致台南要南下列車塞車，目前調度總所正進行處理，要將原本要繼續南下列車，改成北上列車先開走；台南也會有些直接換成新班次北上，不然所有列車都卡在該區間無法行駛也不是辦法。（更新時間：15:36分）
