高雄一名呂姓男子因沉迷賭博電玩而缺錢花用，竟與同夥於8月間3度前往武營路上的民宅行竊，過程中為躲避警察追緝，不僅頭戴鴨舌帽及口罩遮掩，更用自製反光塑膠板黏在車牌上，但仍被警方依監視器循線在鳳山區一帶埋伏逮捕。兩名犯嫌被捕後均坦承犯行，全案依竊盜罪移請高雄地檢署偵辦。

呂男因沉迷賭博而缺錢花用，竟與同夥於8月10、11、12日三度前往衛武營路上的民宅隨機行竊，共竊得名錶3只、手機1支、香水2瓶及現金4000元。兩嫌犯案過程中不僅全程用鴨舌帽及口罩遮掩，更是將犯案車輛的車牌用自製反光板黏上來躲避警方追查。

警方調閱監視器後，在鳳山區五甲一帶連日埋伏，於21日下午16時45分逮捕呂嫌，並通知另名同夥李嫌到案說明。兩嫌對犯行坦承不諱，並供稱多數贓物已變賣給二手古物商，僅剩2瓶香水及現金1400元，警方訊後將兩人依竊盜罪移送法辦。
