台鐵高雄=鳳山路段今天早上7時30分許驚傳交通事故！多輛機車在平交道等候列車通過時，一輛小客車未停車直接從後方追撞，導致多輛汽機車駕駛被撞上，幸好當時未被列車撞上，目前已有15名男女輕傷。
由於事故發生時正值上班通勤時間，一度導致交通大擁塞，經路警處理後，台鐵於7時46雙線恢復正常行車，總計影響6列次、99分鐘。警方指出，當時肇事自小客車是先在平交道上撞擊了8部機車，再衝向正義路段，當時其他車輛根本閃避不及，才會導致連環追撞。
據悉，肇事休旅車駕駛是一名婦人，自稱癲癇發作失去意識。至於，確切的肇事原因仍待警方進一步釐清。
