嘉義縣一名34歲的侯姓女子，26日中午騎車擦撞一輛BMW，後又和丈夫吵架，疑似心情不好，帶著4歲的兒子外出後至今未歸，有民眾發現她的手機和鑰匙丟在嘉南大圳過麻二號橋附近，家人擔心她尋短，趕緊報警並通報消防隊協尋，但目前還沒有任何發現。
水上分局表示，侯姓女子26日中午騎車和一輛BMW在中山路二段附近發生小擦撞，雙方並沒有受傷，她做筆錄時和余姓丈夫有些爭吵，研判可能因此心情不好想不開，家屬晚間報案指稱，她帶4歲兒子出門後至今未歸，加上過去曾動過開腦手術，情緒不穩定，擔心會想不開。
有民眾發現她26日下午在嘉南大圳附近徘徊，後有人在麻二號橋附近發現她的手機和鑰匙，警消晚間在附近搜尋多次，也關閉水門下水查看，但都沒有發現身影，目前仍盡力在下游一帶搜尋。
