〔記者曾迺強／嘉縣報導〕嘉義縣山區的櫻花陸續吐艷，其中，番路鄉公田村彌陀禪寺以及台18線（阿里山公路）65.8公里旁的迷糊步道，分別因為視野遼闊、交通便利與附設停車空間，山櫻花近日盛開後，吸引熟門熟路的遊客來賞櫻。
彌陀禪寺內100多株八重櫻盛開，寺內道路兩旁花團錦簇，「櫻花大道」美景讓人讚嘆不已，可由台18線57.2公里轉鄉道嘉130線，約2公里抵達彌陀禪寺。
迷糊步道全長2.3公里，北側出口在台18線65.8公里處，設有停車場及廁所，南側出口在阿里山戶政事務所旁，步道沿線山櫻花盛開。嘉義縣香林國小退休教師黃源明說，北側出入口的粉紅色琉球緋寒櫻、白色福爾摩沙櫻、雙色山櫻花同時綻放，形成紅白交雜的花海，是大阿里山區罕見美景。
