古坑山區包括樟湖、草嶺等地今天下午3點多降下大雨，雨勢相當大，平地斗南市區也降超雨滴，但持續不到5分鐘即停止。
古坑草嶺村石壁社區及緊鄰的嘉義太和甚至降下冰雹，大雨夾著一顆顆如小手指大小的冰雹，郭姓民眾表示，大雨夾著冰雹持續約有5、6分鐘，因雨勢很大，降下冰雹一下子就溶化，但第一次在石壁看到下這麼久的冰雹。
