Lamigo桃猿隊季中選秀的第二輪新人達成加盟共識，林立的新人合約都已談妥。
第二輪指名的內野手林立出生於1996年1月1日。右投右打的林立身高181公分，體重75公斤，他以簽約金440萬元、月薪8.5萬元附帶60萬元的激勵獎金加盟。
林立的棒球路都在桃園發展，大勇國小、新明國中一直到平鎮高中、國立體院，林立一直是隊上內野主力。林立與隊上的梁家榮一起入選2013年的18U世界青棒賽國手，林立榮獲當時最佳二壘手。梁家榮早他一步在高中畢業後就加入Lamigo桃猿隊發展，林立也如願被在地球團挑中，林立繼續在桃園發展，與梁家榮在Lamigo當好隊友。
林立的背號選擇「39」，目前正在積極備戰世界大學運動會棒球項目，林立的加盟可望為Lamigo桃猿隊的內野戰力帶來提升，在桃園開啟自己的職業棒球康莊大道。
