桃園市長鄭文燦在台下聽得認真，而計畫發起人施振榮也聽得陶醉，這是施振榮繼鹿港小鎮之後，選定龍潭作為第二個推動的計畫，因為宏碁電腦跟龍潭頗有淵源，當年宏碁在龍潭渴望園區推動安家計畫，投注許多心力，因此特別有意義。
宏碁創辦人施振榮表示：「由文學跟音樂的創作，組合起來做一個傳唱，傳唱可以流傳到百年，一直傳唱下去，那這個是文化傳承最有效的方法。」
檢視相片龍潭映象交響詩，由金曲獎得主李哲藝譜曲，詞開放民眾投稿，而且國語、客語都有，代表龍潭的客家文化。
鄭文燦說：「這是另外一種地方創生，用音樂讓每一個小鎮，產生它自己的特色文化。」
