一名潘姓男子日前開車行經龍潭區中興路553巷時，慘遭對向一名機車騎士朝著擋風玻璃「丟鐵塊」，玻璃當場碎裂，鐵塊還掉進車內，突如其來的舉動嚇壞一家人，嚇得馬上停車，所幸沒有人受傷。警方獲報後，以車追人，鎖定一名李姓男子涉有重嫌，將他約談到案。
當時潘男開車行經巷子時，對向機車疾駛而來，下一秒騎士竟拿鐵塊朝車子丟，擋風玻璃瞬間碎裂，碎成蜘蛛網狀，還出現一個大洞，而砸車的騎士則是加速逃離現場。
龍潭警分局表示，李嫌聲稱因為中午騎乘機車外出時，該路段路幅狹窄，突然發現對向汽車直駛而來有逆向情形，一時受到驚嚇，憤而拿起腳踏墊的鐵塊朝著對向汽車丟擲後隨即逃逸。龍潭分局獲報後擔心造成轄區民眾的恐慌，隨即組成專案小組積極偵辦查緝，訊後將他依毀損罪嫌送辦。
由於李嫌堅稱是單純的行車糾紛，但警方仍不排除機車、汽車雙方駕駛是否有其他嫌隙或仇恨，另將通知被害人到場以釐清實際案情。
