網友拍下影片，林口A8站附近道路，淹水情況嚴重，道路沿線有加油站和大賣場，鄰近長庚醫院，交通大受影響，行車速度緩慢，一早的暴雨狂轟猛炸新竹桃園地區，各鄉鎮傳出災情，雖然雨勢稍歇，但是淹水還未立即消退，林口現在也傳出淹水災情，今天最大降雨主要分布於新竹縣，最大24小時累積雨量為新竹縣新豐鄉新豐達359mm，另最近3小時累積最大雨量為桃園市新屋區達131mm。
中央災害應變中心訊息，淹水警戒資訊即時發布，淹水警戒資訊(一級：3個縣市、6個鄉鎮市區【桃園市(觀音區)】、【新竹市(東區)】、【新竹縣(竹北市、湖口鄉、新埔鎮、新豐鄉)】;二級：1個縣市、1個鄉鎮市區【桃園市(新屋區)】 )提供各單位應變處置參考。應變期間曾發生43處道路及低漥地區積淹水(桃園市18件、新竹縣5件、新竹市20件)，退水情形陸續查證中。
