鄭文燦表示，機捷通車提出「安全達標、服務多元、穩健成長」三大目標，目前機捷聯外交通替代率達廿八％，大幅紓解國道二號機場聯絡道負擔，另機捷也發揮觀光機能，假日運量較平日多出一萬人次，也給沿線各營業單位，如華泰名品城、微風廣場、昇恆昌等，帶來更多的觀光、消費效益。
桃捷公司董事長劉坤億說，桃捷公司持續秉持「安全無虞、系統穩定」的目標前進，目前機捷準點率達九十八．五％，未來將朝九十九．五％的目標努力。
