檢警調查，呂男去年10月11日晚上6點多，在長榮航空粉絲團貼文下方，以個人臉書帳號留言回覆「以前我只要夢見飛機就會發生空難，大園空難。澎湖軍機空難」、「這一次是和錢有關的；長榮航空24小時內要注意兩個外國人，因為他們會劫機」等文字訊息。
檢警偵訊，李男坦承犯行，長榮企業安全管理室副理也證稱李男發布訊息的行為，訊後，檢方依證詞及臉書截圖，認李男涉散布危害飛航安全不實訊息罪嫌重大將他起訴。
