6月15日是一年一度的警察節，為表達對不分日夜，全力投入治安工作的辛苦警察同仁表達感謝之意，八德分局警友辦事處主任吳建榮率副主任劉元順、總幹事林長春、顧問鄭文聰等一行人，在警察節前夕至八德分局致贈分局所有同仁一組加強版多功能的LED手電筒，總數量達300組。
吳建榮主任表示，除祝賀警察節外，也希望藉由執勤裝備的加強，提升出勤同仁安全，以達到「工欲善其事，必先利其器」的效果，表達對辛勞的警察們致上最崇高的敬意。
檢視相片八德分局長陳錦坤代表分局接受頒贈時表示，特別感謝吳建榮主任一行人百忙之中撥空到分局致贈執勤裝備，提升同仁執勤安全，八德分局會更努力維護八德地區治安，也向所有堅守崗位的警察弟兄說聲「警察節快樂，大家辛苦了」。
