為期兩個月的暑假於8月29日畫下句點，北市市各國中小學於30日陸續開學，本分局為維護校園及師生安全，規劃於轄內中小學校，增派警力到場疏導交通，讓學校師生「安心」、家長「放心」，並關懷留意在校外逗留或落單的學童，提供關懷協助，防止意外發生。

中正第二分局分局長沈炳信特配合開學日，於本(30)日親率同仁針對轄內各級學校執行校園安全維護勤務，在上、下學時段各重要路口編排員警執行交通執法及疏導工作，持續加強校園周邊巡查，藉由提升見警率，有效遏止不法，致力強化校園安全。
30日當天一名25歲的蔡姓女警，當天負責路口交通勤務，當綠燈亮起時，女警霸氣拿起指揮棒一揮，並回頭看著女童安心走向校園，女警表示，因為看著婦幼案件頻傳，所以才會決定從警，也希望能夠照顧幼童安全。
