據《TVBS》報導，身障女子當時在迴龍站想上廁所，按了服務鈴請人幫忙打開閘門讓她出站。但站長尚未完全打開閘門時，身障女竟然直接用電動輪椅衝撞，導致站長右腿挫傷、閘門受損。結果她上完廁所後，又以電動輪椅撞壞1號出口電梯門角。
北捷決定提告，身障女辯稱她是因為不熟悉操作，誤觸開關才會撞到人。但法官勘驗監視器後，發現她疑似想兩度衝撞站長，而且在同年8、9月間，她在捷運中山站與台北橋站，似乎都有發生破壞閘門或電梯等狀況，因此新北地院最後將她判刑又罰錢。
