〔即時新聞／綜合報導〕目前台灣使用繁體中文，中國則是使用簡體字。不過最近卻有眼尖網友發現，台北101大樓與世貿三館間的路面標示竟然用簡體字寫著「机車入口」，有網友大呼「台灣要開始被統一了嗎」？
綜合報導指出，最近有網友發現，信義區台北101大樓與世貿三館之間，通往機車停車場專用道路的柏油路面竟然有簡體字「机車入口」的標示。結果此標示引來網友熱烈討論。
世貿展館營運單位外貿協會解釋，因為機車的「機」繁體字筆劃多，在道路上進行佈漆時，漆的面積會很龐大、密集，如果天候不佳就可能讓胎紋深度不足的機車滑倒，因此馬路承包商是基於安全考量才用簡體「机」字；貿協也解釋，如果真的有意用簡體字，應該連同「車」字也改寫成「车」。
不過有網友仍認為，要解決滑倒的問題，應該是從變更塗漆材質下手。也有人直言，「別家印得出『機車』的包商都是笨蛋？」、「建議改『G車入口』」
