台北市警察局文山二分局5日時接獲銀行報案，行員指出，有名老翁神情緊張且想把現金全部提出，員警到場後先安撫老翁的情緒，沒想到老翁還是堅持要提款，直到員警致電健保局詢問後才知道自己遇到詐騙集團。
警方指出，在接獲永豐銀行的電話後就懷疑是老梗「假檢警詐騙」，劉姓老翁（67歲）供稱接到健保局的電話，表示他在8月初使用身分證非法提領住院補助金，接著就將電話轉給「檢察官」，檢察官表示要證明清白就要到銀行把錢全部提出交付監管。
員警抵達永豐銀行後先安撫老翁的情緒，並向他解釋這是詐騙集團一貫使用的老梗詐騙，不過老翁還是不相信員警的說法，堅持要把現金全部提領出來，員警見勸阻無效，只好當著老翁的面打給健保局查證。
這時候老翁才知道自己被騙了，趕緊向員警道謝，保住他86萬的老本，警方呼籲，接到檢察官、健保局等相關單位的電話時務必保持冷靜，並向165反詐騙查證，以免造成財產損失。
