台北市警察局文山一分局指南派出所所長及警員，大年初二在動物園附近執行交通勤務，發現1名騎士闖紅燈遂上前盤查，結果該名騎士竟拋下機車從停車場旁的邊坡滑下，員警當下也棄車追上，最後在停車場壓制男子，經警用電腦查詢後發現，該名男子是毒品、竊盜的通緝犯，訊後解送地檢署偵辦。
警方表示，17日（大年初二）下午16點至19點間，員警動物園附近執行交通執法勤務，期間看到林姓機車騎士（41歲，搶奪、毒品、竊盜前科）闖紅燈，員警立即上前攔阻。
結果林男看到員警追上時，當場棄車逃逸，並往停車場的邊坡滑下，派出所長及員警見狀也跟上，所幸最後在停車場將他壓制，並通知支援警力將林男帶回派出所偵訊。
調查後發現林姓男子是基隆地檢署發布的毒品、竊盜通緝犯，林男向員警供稱，因為不想去服刑才會逃跑，警方訊後將他解送基隆地檢署歸案。
