今天早上6時許，遠航一架班機在松山機場拖離棚廠時，不慎擦撞另一架飛機，造成兩架飛機機身受損，必須停飛檢修，導致航班延誤，更有媒體報導遠航因此無機可飛，部分航班被迫取消，國內線班次大亂。
遠航稍早證實此事，表示今天清晨停機線人員將飛機拖離機棚時發生的「小擦撞」、擦撞到飛機尾翼，造成班機延誤，但針對報導遠航無機可飛造成航班大亂，遠航澄清「並非無機可飛」。
遠航初步證實有3航班受延誤，均為飛往金門航班，延誤約1至3小時。兩架飛機已依照原廠手冊進行完整檢查，並回報波音原廠後，一架飛機已經確定安全無虞，可以執行飛行任務，另一架正在等待核准。
民航局表示，接到通報是遠東航空一架麥道MD80飛機在拖離機棚時，機尾擦撞到另一架飛機，機尾水平翼受損，民航局了解中。（更新14：47分）
