台北市長柯文哲3日進行「商圈走讀」行程，晚間在Instagram上PO出體驗腳底按摩的照片，稱「「來士林就是要鬆一下，不然要幹嘛？」，但小邊也在一旁附註「啊你嘛卡小力一點；只見照片中的柯文哲表情誇張，引起網友留言「表情太好笑了」、「好可愛」、「市長表情經典」，也有網友笑說「市長壓力太大了」，吸引超過2萬人按讚。
2014年可以說是靠著網友力量擊敗連勝文的柯文哲，7月啟用Instagram帳號，開闢臉書以外的另一社群平台；為了和臉書作出區隔，市府團隊表示，Instagram平台上會展現柯文哲的日常「誠實的市長在臉書，真實的柯P在IG。」
隨著2018選舉接近，各路人馬蠢蠢欲動，僅管面對媒體都說「把每天該作的事情作好就好」，但柯文哲也密集安排「商圈走讀」行程，走訪基層與民眾互動，傾聽基層心聲；而柯文哲人氣仍舊十分旺，所到之處都有不少民眾央求合照。
