除了兩輛轎車外，一旁停紅燈的一輛機車也遭波及，包括機車騎士，共計4人受輕傷，幸送醫後都沒大礙。
據了解，左轉星雲街的黃姓轎車駕駛雖有打方向燈，但速度過快且未禮讓直行車先行，疑似導致這起車禍。一名員警說，他在康寧所待了3年，這是第二次看到有車直接撞上派出所。
