台北市內湖8日驚傳當街擄童案，一名33歲周姓男子當著媽媽的面前，直接拖走對方7歲的女兒，展開一場「人肉拔河」，並在警訊後被放出，引起社會恐慌，警方也再度逮捕周男協助就醫，但是網路社團又貼出照片，寫上「傳說中的他，已經出來了」讓很多父母又陷入恐慌，不過查證內湖分局，警方表示，目前周男還在醫院，網路上的照片應該是舊的照片。
新北市三峽一名33歲的周姓男子，8日突然在內湖區拉住一名女童，女童母親與其拉扯，並且高喊救命，附近餐廳員工聽到呼救後也衝到店外幫忙、報警，讓周男立即逃跑；隨後，警方也在100公尺外的超商逮捕周姓男子，他向警方供稱誤認女童是三峽認識的朋友，所以才會拉住女童，目前周男還在醫院內進行評估。
